BONAIRE'S APPEAL TO CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS IS ON THE RISE
The Bonaire delegation consisting Gabriele Tixi, TCB Cruise Manager, Robert Sint Jago, Harbour Master and Rolando Marin, Communications Officer, has reported a successful outcome from its participation in Cruise Shipping Miami (CSM) Trade Show and Convention, held from March 16-19, 2015 in Miami, Florida.
Numerous meetings were conducted with top executives and their teams from the following cruise lines: Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Pullmantur Group, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, AIDA Cruises, Disney Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Lines, and their positive reaction to Bonaire’s newly found popularity was unanimous.
The consensus among cruise lines executives is that they are pleased with Bonaire’s increased scores in the passenger satisfaction surveys and specifically in the “Appeal” category; the island is now scoring amongst the Top Five in the Caribbean. Next year’s cruise season is shaping up to be equally successful with cruise ships making calls to the island throughout the entire year, including the summer months.
