Tourism Corporation Bonaire gives 'Gouden Flamingo' at Vakantiebeurs
On a well-attended ceremony during the Vakdag at the Vakantiebeurs, Tourism Corporation Bonaire awarded the annual prizes. The main prize, the Bonaire promotional price, was awarded to glossy’s magazine Harper's Bazaar. As a thank you for the wonderful coverage in 2017 and the unique videos, Rose Miedema received the ‘Gouden Flamingo’ from Mariel Reuvers and Roger Davids. The ‘Roze Ei’, which is the encouragement award, went to Duikersgids. They launched an innovative concept where Bonaire can expect a lot in 2018.
Attention all year 2017 in Harper's Bazaar
Tourism Corporation Bonaire and the glossy multimedia platform Harper's Bazaar had set up an integral cooperation in 2017. The complete crew of this glossy came to the island. Bonaire was the setting of new collections, nice trip reports and they also delivered great pictures. Not only in the magazine, also on social media, in mailings and of course on YouTube. The whole year Bonaire was fully in the spotlight.
Duikersgids receives "Roze Ei"
Duikersgids is known for years now as the manual for divers. Just as Bonaire is known for years as the dive island. With more than 50 shore dive spots, very well equipped dive shops and real ‘drive thru fill stations’ Bonaire is world renowned for its ‘diving freedom’. It is there that Errol Fox of Duikersgids comes in with their latest innovations. A handy online log per diver strengthens the ‘dive community’ and the bond with diving destinations like Bonaire. In the course of 2018, the first results are expected of their new duikersapp.
