The last few months Tourism Corporation Bonaire has been receiving a lot of questions from visitors about the current situation on Bonaire, what the current requirements are to visit and which countries are allowed to visit.

-Which countries can currently visit Bonaire?
Passengers from all countries may travel to Bonaire. From or via the Netherlands and from or via Curacao. Travelers from the US can visit, but will have to travel via Curacao.
-What are the current requirements to visit Bonaire?
To avoid quarantine travelers must have had a PCR test taken no earlier than 72 hours before their departure and the test result must be negative. The test has to have been taken within 72 hours of departure; point of departure being defined as the Netherlands or Curacao. Additionally, travelers must complete an online health declaration form from the Public Health Department no earlier than 72 hours or later than 48 hours before departure. Bonaire advises travelers to make sure that their health insurance will cover the costs of medical care during their stay on the island, including care related to COVID-19.

-May I travel to Bonaire by boat?
Yes, you can visit Bonaire by boat. The same rules apply to you as to travelers who come to Bonaire by air.
