Willie Dijkstra
Willie Dijkstra started painting in1987 and learned a lot by practicing, reading and visiting various exhibitions and museums. During several years she was a member of an artist company in Holland. She took lot of lessons from private art painters and in addition she gained knowledge at the Academy of Art which was very important for the development of her own style of painting. With help of close friend and mentor; Rem de Boer a well-known painter in Holland, she makes some spectacular artwork.
Janice Huckaby
Janice Huckaby paints underwater scenes that are real places on Bonaire with the above and below series of dive sites that are special to the visitors here. She also specializes in fish portraits of the various fish found on the reefs. Janice Huckaby’s landscapes and sunsets are of local scenes you can see in Bonaire. Nature paintings of birds, iguanas, goats, donkeys and flamingos are all available at the Jan Art Gallery.
