Bonairean born Chef Gibi knew that he would always return to his native Bonaire to create wonderful local dishes. Gibi’s culinary training has taken him from New York to Paris and back to the Caribbean.

 

Enjoy local dishes in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Chef Gibi and his wife Emma make you feel like family, whether you’re dining “al fresco” at his home or at The Golden Reef Inn.

 

Chef Gibi’s specialities include local favourites such as Goat, Conch, Beef Stew, and Fresh Catch of the Day featuring his homemade creole sauce! Chef Gibi also adds local flare to internationals dishes such as Filet Mignon, Garlic Shrimp, seafood and pasta dishes. (Vegetarian options upon request).

 

Gibi’s Terrace has 2 locations. At Kaya Hulanda 39, Chef Gibi’s home, you can enjoy dinner Tuesday night and Thursday-Sunday. At Kaya den Haag, The Golden Reef Inn, Gibi serves his complete breakfast buffet each morning and an “All You Can Eat” BBQ Buffet on Monday nights. Gibi’s BBQ is complete with local music and Free Rum Punch Party!

 

Gibi’s Terrace is closed on Wednesday.
