Since 1938, Rincon’s guesthouse was named “Pension Goede Hoop”.  The proprietor is legendary Bonairean author/poet/composer Mr. O. (Tavio) E. Sint Jago.  His daughter, producer/vocalist/author, Ms. Emma Sint Jago, renovated the Inn in 1995, changing the name to “Rose Inn” in memory of her mom, late Micaëla Rosa. Father and daughter were awarded for outstanding contribution to Bonairean culture by the Dutch Government.
