Best opportunity would be during a North tour, at Goto Lake. Flamingos do not outnumber the people unless we count the ones who are off-island. However, the quantity of flamingos is very high, up to 5,000 at any given moment on the island. They cannot be easily seen at the Pekel Meer Sanctuary, as this area is protected and cannot be seen closely from the road. From Goto Lake, which is also a protected area, Flamingo’s can be more easily seen, as the area is close to the road.
