Volunteering on Bonaire
Many visitors and residents express the desire to volunteer time to help the various foundations and organizations on Bonaire. Help is always welcome! In the environmental sector, STINAPA has many opportunities for people to be a part of various research and monitoring projects.
Looking to work with animals? The Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire has an active tagging program and various monitoring that needs to be done. Also, Bonaire Animal Shelter and Donkey Sanctuary are just a few of the various choices available.
Prefer to help with humans? Jong Bonaire is where volunteers can make a difference when it comes to Bonaire’s youth. The after school program is always on the lookout for volunteers. Special Olympics Bonaire is another very active organization that needs support. There are diverse opportunities available. Get involved, it feels good!
