Freestyle World Championship

Since 2004, the annual Starboard Pro Kids Freestyle World Championship has been hosted at Bonaire’s Sorobon Beach!  

The Pro Kids Freestyle World Championship event is attended by well known international windsurfers including participants, judges and visitors.  Bonaire’s week long ameteur competition, covered by local and international press,  features some of windsurfing’s best freestyle talent.  Categories and contestants range by age from “baby kids” 0-7 years to boys and girls up to 17 years.  Trophies are awarded and a king and queen are chosen at the end of the event.

Local and visiting Windsurfing fans cheer on the competitors and celebrate.  Beach BBQ’s, Live music, DJ’s, Happy Hours and more complete the festivities.
