What makes 1000 Steps unique?
It is a dive site full stag horn corals. And with innumerable gorgonian corals in various types. In open water you will come face to face with different species of fish. Varying from turtles to devil rays, dolphins and even whale sharks.
Position of the dive site
1000 Steps is found to the west coast of Bonaire. Following the road to the north, you will pass by the Radio-towers. Of course the dive site 1000 Steps also is indicated with a yellow stone. The reef starts immediately below the buoy. The depth varies from 6 up to 40 metres. The average depth is 20 metres. The dive is suitable for each diver.
