Mission
The Tourism Awareness Program is aimed at the Bonairean community at large. Its objective is to raise the awareness of the dynamics and importance of tourism for Bonaire, now and in the future among the Bonairean community. This awareness must help in the process of further establishment of a feeling of pride of the Bonairean culture and hospitality towards visitors. This process will be stressed continuously by means of publicity campaigns, events and training programs that will be offered to the community. All events will be offered free of charge. The core of TAP is a training program that consists of 6 modules. Together these 6 modules constitute the qualification”Bonaire Tourism Professional “.Local businesses, non governmental organizations, government and associations will work very close together in this effort. TAP strives to be a project by Bonaireans and for Bonaireans.
